Everybody seems to love Vincent Van Gogh. Last weekend I was lucky enough to get to Amsterdam for a few days and anyone I mentioned I was going too, made sure I had plans to go to the Van Gogh Museum.

When I was researching my High Hopes series, I came across the work of Swiss born artist Pipilotti Rist. I love how she addresses topics but it was not until recently I saw her work in ‘real life’.
I’m not sure if it is cheating showing you older work, but I loved working on these pieces. The work was produced in 2014 and was designed to explore the relationship between the naivety of romance juxtaposed to the darkness and disappointments of failed relationships.
